Background
Our client, an SaaS restaurant management software company, wanted to streamline their sales process by digitizing and integrating their CPQ and Billing systems. They especially wanted to improve quote security and data; sales personnel were using editable spreadsheets to create quotes, letting anyone with access change critical data without logging evidence of those changes and forcing users to manually recreate redundant information. Order and billing system conflicts also posed challenges: order and billing information were managed by two different systems, causing data errors and delays and making it almost impossible to duplicate data.
